A five day technical seminar on the middle player was organised from September 15 to 19 at the Regional Volleyball Development Centre in Khartoum.

The main topics of the seminar were relating to the current block systems and strategy in the international game of volleyball, including middle blocker movements.
In total 25 men and eight women participated in the seminar. The Development Centre will organise their second FIVB activity on the calendar in November when it will host a Level II Coaching Course.
