The former U.S. Women’s Volleyball National Team member Karsta Lowe revealed on social media that she was on the organizing committee of the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics.
At the age of 28, Lowe announced that she definitely retired from playing volleyball. She already made such a decision a year ago, when she accepted to perform the role of an assistant coach to the USC Trojans in the NCAA, but then returned to competitive activity in the Athletes Unlimited professional league, at the beginning of this year.
“Pretty excited to share that I have a job. That’s right. Not slamming volleyballs anymore. Working at the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics has been a dream so far and I’m very excited to see what’s in store for this city,“ the ex-opposite hitter, who won the FIVB World League and Pan-American Cup once each with the U.S. National Team, posted.
