In the match that closed the first part of the regular season in the 2021 South Korean Men’s Volleyball Championship, the Uijeongbu KB Insurance Stars defeated Suwon KEPCO Vixtorm thanks to an extraordinary display if Noumory Keita.
With a set score of 3-1 (22-25, 27-25, 30-28, 25-20), the KB Stars beat KEPCO on the road and remained in second place in the Dodram V-League at the half of the 2021/22 regular season with 33 points (10-8). On the other hand, KEPCO are third, suffering their third consecutive defeat.
Noumory Keita, the best scorer in the V-League thus far, recorded personal highest scoring output this season: 52 points, including seven aces! The Malian international continued carving his name on the (unofficial) Top 10 list of the world’s best single-match scorers. This time, he took the seventh position.
