The Hisamitsu Springs informed about hiring the Belgian women’s volleyball international Lise van Hecke.
Van Hecke’s career will continue in Japan.
At the end of her fifth successive season in Italy, crowned by reaching the last Serie A1 final with Vero Volley Monza, the Belgian star will play, for the first time in her career, in the Far East. The 30-year-old opposite hitter will wear the Hisamitsu jersey in 2022-23. The MVP of the Italian Championship in 2012-13 and Best Scorer of the EuroVolley 2013 will be the new attacking power of the team that last season won the Japanese V.League and also the Empress’ Cup.
