HAOK Mladost claimed their 22nd title as Croatian champions in a dramatic playoff against OK Mursa Osijek. Despite Osijek initially leading the series 2-0, Mladost managed to turn the tide in their favor with a 3-0 victory (25-18, 25-12, 25-22) in the fifth and final match of the championship.
Throughout the match, Mladost displayed dominance, organization, and determination, taking an early lead and maintaining it until the end. In the first set, Mladost had 15 points in attack and 4 blocks, compared to Osijek’s 10 points in attack and 2 blocks. Mladost continued their dominance in the second set, winning 25-12, while Osijek struggled to regain their confidence. The third set was more competitive, but Mladost still had the upper hand, securing a victory with a 25-22 scoreline.
Led by Eckert with 13 points and Zeljković with 14 points, Mladost successfully defended their championship title and claimed their 22nd title as Croatian champions.
