Following Serbia’s quarterfinal defeat in the women’s volleyball tournament at the Paris Olympics, speculation has swirled about a coaching change. Reports suggest that Giovanni Guidetti’s tenure as Serbia’s head coach has ended, with French expert Stéphane Antiga rumored to be his successor.
Guidetti hinted at his departure after the loss to Italy, stating it might have been his last match in charge. However, the Serbian Volleyball Federation has since denied these claims, asserting that no decisions regarding the coach’s future have been made yet. Antiga, a former French national team player and a renowned coach, is reportedly set to take over. Guidetti’s contract expired after the Olympic tournament.
