The semi-final matchups for the 26th Asian Men’s Club Volleyball Championship have been confirmed after a day of thrilling quarterfinal action on Thursday, September 12. Four teams emerged victorious, securing their spots in the semi-finals: Jakarta Bhayangkara Presisi (Indonesia), Pavlodar Volleyball Club (Kazakhstan), Shahdab Yazd (Iran), and Foolad Sirjan (Iran).
In the quarterfinals, Jakarta Bhayangkara Presisi faced off against Al Rayyan Sports Club from Qatar. The Indonesian team dominated, winning in straight sets with scores of 25-18, 25-17, and 25-23, becoming the first team to reach the semi-finals. In a similar fashion, Kazakhstan’s Pavlodar Volleyball Club triumphed over Kam Air of Afghanistan, also with a 3-0 victory (25-20, 25-13, 25-22).
Shahdab Yazd continued Iran’s strong presence in the tournament by defeating Iraq’s Gaz Al-Janoob in three sets (25-15, 25-21, 25-23), while Foolad Sirjan Iranian rounded out the semi-finalists with a 3-0 win over Sporting Club from Kuwait (25-21, 25-17, 25-17).
