According to Sportklub.rs, Zoran Terzić has denied rumors that he will be returning as the head coach of the Serbian women’s national volleyball team. Numerous media outlets in Serbia had reported the potential return, but Terzić himself clarified the situation, stating that these claims are false.
Currently coaching Dinamo Kazan and still officially the head coach of the Russian women’s volleyball team, Terzić mentioned that while he was in Serbia for personal reasons, he did meet with officials from the Serbian Volleyball Federation. However, he remained secretive about future possibilities, neither confirming nor dismissing the idea of a return.
For now, Terzić is still in talks with the Russian Federation about extending his contract, though he hinted at the challenges of coaching without active competition.
The Serbian Volleyball Federation continues its search for a new head coach, with Terzić and Slobodan Kovač reportedly being the top candidates. A final decision is expected soon.
