Maribor’s women’s volleyball team, OTP banka Branik, lifted the Slovenian Cup for the 21st time after defeating GEN-I Volley 3–1 in final at Celje’s Zlatorog Hall.

Maribor side showed their experience when it mattered most. After the teams were level at one set apiece, Branik edged two tight sets to seal the trophy.
Captain Iza Mlakar led the way with a standout performance, scoring 30 points and driving her team through the decisive moments. She received strong support from Sydney Palazzolo with 16 points and Sara Hutinski with 10. For the Nova Gorica team, Annelise Samson and Francesca Dalla Rosa each scored 16 points.
The victory marks a return to the top for Branik after finishing runners-up last season, while GEN-I Volley remain on four cup titles, all won between 2006 and 2009.
