USA coach Karch Kiraly: “It is a shame we lost this match. Brazil is a great team, played really well and we made a lot of mistakes. We cannot expect to win making so many mistakes as we did today. But it was really fun playing in Brazil. The energy is fantastic”.

Brazil coach Ze Roberto:The USA team plays in the same level as ours, so it is very good to win. We improved a lot and the fans played a great role supporting us during the whole match”.

I still don’t understand why the American coach didn’t change players earlier in the first two games – injecting Robinson into the game and possibly others. Robinson made the third game very competitive energizing the team even though she made some errors as well.
