“The women’s team has a new coach. The Brazilian Mauro Marasciulo will be in charge of directing our national team,” said to the press the president of FPV, Luis Linares.
He added that the Brazilian coach will replace the Peruvian legend, Natalia Málaga and will have “the main goal to qualify Peru for the Olympic Games 2016 in Rio de Janeiro”.
Natalia Málaga was appointed as a coach of the youth team of Peru.
“I have a lot of expectations. I know Peruvian girls and I know that there is much potential to go far ahead,” said Marasciulo, former head coach of the Colombian national team.
