The Champions League participants won the first battle of the “best-of-5” quarterfinals against SG supervolley Enns, away. It was a comfortable victory – 3-0 (25-15, 25-17, 25-12).
In the second match of the evening, SG VCA Amstetten NÖ also enjoyed a straight set victory against the VBC Weiz – 3-0 (25-20, 25-21, 25-22).
The winning team was superior especially in the elements of reception and serve.
This game was also played in the hall in Enns, as it is not allowed to Amstetten to play in their gymnasium, Johann Pölz, due to renovation.
It was the second win of the season for Amstetten over Weiz in their third duel.
