Urmia attacks
The main candidate to win the title, Shahrdari Urmia VC, was again persuasive against Bazargani Javaheri Gonbad VC.
After beating them at home in straight sets, the team whose member is an Italian legend Valerio Vermiglio, was better than the opponent, away, in four sets – 25-13, 25-20, 14-25, 25-21.
The other main candidate for the ultimate success, Paykan Teheran, learned its lesson from the first leg when it beat Vezarat Defa after a tie-break. Now it needed only three sets to qualify for the semis.
Shahrdari Tabriz surprised the champions, Matin Varamin and eliminated them after another victory!
The fourth team that advanced into semifinal is Mizan Khorasan VC.
