NEC Red Rockets
From the third place in the regular season in Japanese V-league, NEC Red Rockets became the champion of Japan!
Last time they were champions in season 2004/2005.
In the semifinals they defeated Ageo Medics and today in the big final Hisamitsu Springs with 3-1 (22-25, 25-22, 25-19, 25-22).
Yanagida was the best scorer in the winning team with 21 points while Haruyo Shimamura scored 17 points, Akari Oumi 16 and Sarina Koga13 points.
For Hisamitsu who has ended the regular season as the leader, Miyu Nagaoka scored 33 points and she was alone in this match.
