German team showed decent resistance only in the second set of the game played in the city of Ningbo when it had advantage on both technical time-outs, but it made too many errors in the finish.
Zhu Ting clinched the victory of her team with the stunning performance of 21 points in 3 sets! Maren Brinker scored 13 in Germany.
China has joined other 3 the teams with the maximum effect at the start of the competition – Russia, Brazil and USA.
Italy gained its first win in the Grand Prix – Pool C. Belgium was its first „victim“ in Ankara (Turkey) – 3-0 (25-15, 25-17, 25-20).
Italian team demolished the opponent with 18 points from Lucia Bosetti. Freya Aelbrecht scored a modest eight points on the other side.
