Thailand – Brazil
Brazil had a slight trouble against the hosts in Bangkok only in the first set while other two went smoothly for the favored team.
Juciely had 15 points for the winners. Thinkaow scored seven for Thailand.

In the same Pool, Japan caused third loss to Serbia who remained among rare teams with no wins in Group 1.
Koga led Japanese team to its second victory with 23 points. On the other side, Drpa noted 22.
In Pool B, Germany took its premiere win after overpowering Dominican Republic in three sets in Ningbo (China), letting its opponent to score only six times in 1st set (25-6, 25-18, 25-23)!
Once again, Brinker was the most efficient player in the German team – 13 points. Eve had 10 at Dominicans.
