„Congratulations to Russia. Today they played really great game in every segment. It was a pity that we couldn’t play our game, but it was because Russia were extremely good. For many of my players it was the first final. It’s OK if we have learned this lesson. We will take this silver medal and we are looking forward to play in January (additional qualifiers for Olympics),“ Guidetti stated.

„For sure. I never saw Russia playing defense like this.“
Are you satsified with the performance of your players?
„Now, it’s difficult to say. In one hour maybe. This match was too bad comparing what we are able to do. But again, we have to learn from this. Congratulations for Russia once more and I think that we proved for sure that we belong in volleyball top and we want to use all our chances for the Olympic qualifications,“ the head coach of the Netherlands concluded.
