One of the most important news for the Bulgarian fans, but a sad one, is that Konstantinov won’t take Tsvetan Sokolov to the German capital. The opposite hitter has recovered from a shoulder injury, but still can’t play with full strength.

One other important player, Todor Aleksiev also won’t be among 14 players due to ankle injury, while Todor Skrimov returned to the national team.

Konstantinov made a surprising decision to take three liberos to Berlin.

The list of 14 player that will represent Bulgaria in Qualification Tournament:

Setters: George Bratoev, Lyubomir Agontsev; Receivers/outside hitters: Todor Skrimov, Nikolay Penchev, Miroslav Gradinarov, Metodi Ananiev; Opposites: Vladimir Nikolov, Nikolay Uchikova; Middle blockers: Viktor Yosifov, Nikolay Nikolov, Teodor Todorov; Liberos: Teodor Salparov, Vladislav Ivanov, Martin Bozhilov.
