Tianjin vs. Bayi
Jiangsu took advantage of the home court to beat Shanghai both times and to come from 0-2 to 2-2. In the fourth game it was 3-1 (13-25, 25-22, 25-13, 25-18). Now, they have a chance to make a total turnaround in series in the fifth game and advance into big finals.
Once again Zhang Changning showed superior play and collected 28 points for the winning team. Xu Ruoya added 17. In Shanghai, as usual, the Canadian Sarah Pavan was the most efficient player. She had 18 while Zhang Yichan scored 17.
Tianjin have returned to the semifinal series against title holders Bayi 3-0 (25-23, 25-13, 25-20). The Cuban Nancy Carrillo topped Tianjin scorers with 15 points. Chen Liyi contributed with 13. Bayi had only two players with double digits on the score sheet – Liu Yanhan 16 and Yuan Xinyue 10.
