Despite the fact that fans turned their back on them, Daejeon achieved a home win worth three points against Seoul GS Caltex KIxx in „Chungmu gymnasium“ (826 spectators only) 3-1 (25-23, 30-28, 23-25, 25-19).
With this victory, Daejeon equalized this season’s outcome in mutual games with Caltex at 2-2, but remained last-placed in the standings. On the other hand, Caltex are only one place above today’s rivals on the table.
The only shiny spot in Daejeon’s season so far is American player Hayley Spelman. She scored game-high 43 points! Another American stood out in this clash, Katherine Bell from Caltex. She collected 34 points.
