Uncertainty on participants at the World Qualifying Tournament in Puerto Rico for the 2016 Rio Olympics is over as one of the two national teams from Africa, which withdrew from competing, suddenly decided to play.

Kenya, third placed at the African Qualifiers, who quit on participating at the World Qualifiers in Puerto Rico (May 20-22), will eventually play since their volleyball federation managed to overcome financial difficulties. Kenya will also take place at the 2016 World Grand Prix starting on June 3 in Argentina.

Egypt, second placed at African Qualifiers, who withdrew from participating in Puerto Rico as well, will be replaced by fourth placed from that tournament, Algeria. So, it means that there will be no national teams from Europe at this tournament despite the fact that Turkey were waiting for a chance as fourth placed at European Qualifiers.

Final composition of World Qualifiying Tournament will be: Puerto Rico, Colombia, Kenya and Algeria.
