Glenn Hoag’s side beat Australia 3-2 (25-19, 24-26, 20-25, 29-27, 15-11). They again were in difficult situation and were close to lose a match but somehow managed to survive in fourth set and afterwards to win the tie-break.
Jonh Gordon Perinn was the top scorer on the winning side by scoring 25 points, while Australian giant Thomas Edgar ended match with 33 points.
China have scored the second win at the World Olympic Qualifying tournament in Japan! After beating the host, China easily downed Venezuela 25-16, 25-18, 25-15!
With this victory, China increased chances for reaching the Rio 2016 ticket. Dai Qingyao pushed China to the win with 17 points while on the other side Kervin Pinerua ended match with 14 points.
