GP 2016: Slöetjes the best scorer of Round 1

The first weekend of the FIVB World Grand Prix 2016 Group 1, has just finished and three teams have scored all wins while three were with all defeats.

Volleyball team of China was the best in Pool A, Brazil was without mercy in Pool B while Russia celebrated all three wins in Pool C. On the other hand Belgium, Serbia and Germany suffered all defeats!

After only three matches some players have already showed that they are leaders in their teams.

Lonneke Slöetjes from The Netherlands is the best scorer in FIVB Grand Prix after the first weekend. She scored 68 points in three matches (66 spikes, 2 aces). Polen Uslupehlivan from Turkey is the second with 60 points (1 block, 3 ac) and Nataliya Goncharova from Russia 55 (6 bl, 1 ac). The young Chinese star Ting Zhu is at the fourth place with 48 points (8 bl, 2 ac) while Ajcharaporn Kongyot from Thailand has 47 points (5 bl, 2 ac).
