Netherlands vs. Italy
There are only two teams with the perfect score so far in the FIVB Volleyball World Grand Prix 2016. One of them is China, while the other is Russia which defeated Thailand in straight sets this Saturday. The MVP of the match was Nataliya Goncharova, who scored 23 points for the winning side.
At the same time, Netherlands managed to beat Italy in front of Italian crowd! The Dutch squad triumphed by 3-1 at the game played in Bari and therefore wrote down their third win in this year’s competition.
The top scorers in the Orange crew were Celeste Plak with 18 points and Lonneke Sloetjes with 17.
