12 teams will be fighting for glory in the 25th edition of a tournament that is the perfect possibility to shine and display all great Volleyball skills. The following key facts will help you to get ready for the start.

The 2016 edition of the women’s U19 European Championship will take place in Nitra and Györ from August 27 to September 4. It is the first time in history that the tournament will be co-hosted by Slovakia and Hungary. However, both nations are experienced in organising this under age group and have hosted several U19 events in the past.

Two years ago it was Serbia that claimed the title in a thrilling final against Slovenia. The champions are also the favourites for this year´s edition as well, while the Slovenian team missed out on qualification during the second round and will not be able to take revenge.
