The match showed no sign of a predictable outcome as both teams exhibited intense and exciting plays resulting to tight battles in each set.

Thailand’s good service and attack scheme were their main weapons while Korea relied on its blocking to even-out the competition. But Onuma Sittirak’s 20 points held firmly against the Korean defence which made the difference in the match.

Korean captain Han Song-Yi and Yang Hyo-Jin posted 15 and 12 points, respectively. The offense of these two players were not enough to at least steal a set against the Thais – who were consistent in their offense.

Nootsara Tomkom and Malika Kanthong’s five service aces exceeded the total service ace output of the Korean team with four points.
