Vietnam-Iran
Vietnam defeated their opponent 3-1 (25-11, 25-18, 24-26, 25-17) at the preliminary round held at the Baluan Sholak Sports and Culture Palace on Monday.
From the very start, it was obvious that Vietnam hadthe advantage in the match. Vietnam easily overcame the first two sets eventhough Iran had some moments to close in on the Vietnamese lead.
Iran broke through the third set with the help oftheir main attacker Roosta Mina who scored 13 points.
In the fourth set, Vietnam brought all their strength again and fiercelyattacked the opponents making it impossible for Iran to defend and get back tothe match. The victory can be attributed to captain Nguyen Thi Ngoc Hoa whoscored 20 points for her team.
