Thomas Edgar made up for missing out on a medal at the FIVB Volleyball Men’s Club World Championship by taking the award as tournament leading scorer.

The Australia captain helped Bolivar to the bronze medal match, where defeat to Trentino meant the Argentine club left empty-handed. However, his 74 points in the tournament meant he took home the leading scorer award.

2013 – Betim: 108 pts – Tsvetan Sokolov, Trentino (ITA)

2014 – Belo Horizonte: 90 pts – Theo Lopes, UPCN (ARG)

2015 – Belo Horizonte: – 62 pts – Wilfredo Leon Venero, Zenit Kazan (RUS)

2016 – Betim: 74 pts – Thomas Edgar, Bolivar (ARG)
