The Korean coach Kim Young-Il said “I am responsible for this defeat. Japanese players had higher desire for victory than us. There was not an ace player in our team to lead the players in critical moments. Congratulations to Japan for their third place in this Championships. I am not satisfied with this result of placing fourth. As a coach of high school teams I noticed the high interest of Iran volleyball federation and mass media to volleyball and it is effective element in progress of volleyball in Iran.”
Honda Hiroshi, Japan head Coach said “Korea had good reception in this match. Ours was not as good as theirs. Block was our power point.“
