Slobodan Kovac has become the new head coach of Jastrzebski Wegiel. This information has been officially confirmed by the club.
The agreement with the 52-year old coach has been signed until the end of this season.
The Serbian volleyball expert is taking over the team from Luke Reynolds, who temporarily led the team after releasing coach Roberto Santilli.
Kovač is already in Poland and will have the first training with the team tomorrow morning.
“Slobodan Kovač is a top name among the coaches in the world of volleyball. I am proud that such a valuable coach applied for a job here in Jastrzebski. This only confirms the fact that our club is a great brand. I am very pleased that we were able to reach agreement. I am convinced that with this coach we can successfully fight for the highest goals,” says president of Jastrzebski, Adam Gorol.
