Grupa Azoty Chemik Police were eager to redeem for the first defeat in the 2019/20 Liga Siatkówki Kobiet regular season, which they had suffered in the previous round, and gave no chance to the vice-champions Grot Budowlani Łódź in what was supposed to be a derby of Round 18. Despite being weakened for a starting outside hitter Natalia Mędrzyk, Chemik allowed rivals to hope only at the beginning of each of the sets: 3-0 (25-21, 25-19, 25-19).

Cuban Wilma Salas led the winning side with 18 points, while Ukrainian Anastasiia Kraiduba made 13 points for Budowlani. Luckily for the team based in Łódź, the only 2 teams that are able to jeopardize their position No.4, DPD Legionovia Legionowo and BKS STAL Bielsko-Biała, suffered defeats in this round.
