SAN-Pajda
MKS SAN-Pajda Jarosław, the club that occupies the 5th place in the country’s 2nd division (I Liga Kobiet) eliminated Polish vice-champions Grot Budowlani Łódź from the 2019/20 Puchar Polski! SAN-Pajda prevailed by a 3-2 but could have even won by a 3-1 as they had several match points in the 4th set. Partially, it was 25-22, 25-20, 22-25, 34-36, 15-10 for the underdogs.
In the semifinals, SAN-Pajda will face trophy holders Grupa Azoty Chemik Police, who surprisingly easy beat national champions ŁKS Commercecon Łódź (3-0).
DPD Legionovia Legionowo and Developres SkyRes Rzeszów justified roles of the favorites in their respective quarterfinal duels.
