Artur Szalpuk has closed the composition of the Polish men’s volleyball top division side VERVA Warszawa ORLEN Paliwa for the next season.

The outside hitter of the Poland National Team, with whom he became the world champion in 2018, Szalpuk signed a one-year contract with Warszawa.

The 25-year-old player came to the club from the country’s capital from PGE Skra Bełchatów where he spent the last two years and won the national Super Cup in 2018. The same year but, Szalpuk won the national Cup but while wearing the jersey of Trefl Gdańsk.

He was close to joining Japan’s titleholders JTEK Stings and, at one point, it seemed that the V.League club had definitely spoiled Warszawa’s plans.
