Croatian women’s junior national team started its European Championship journey

Croatia’s women junior national team traveled to Osijek, where they will train and prepare from the 5th of July until the 21st of August, for the upcoming European Championship.

The U19 Croatia’s national team head coach, Saša Ivanišević picked 16 young stars to enter the training camp in Osijek; Karla Antunović, Zorana Brčić, Veronika Budimir, Mirta Freund, Ana Ištuk and Andrea Mihaljević from Mladost Zagreb, Andrea Koraca and Mara Štiglić from HAOK Rijeka, Eva Krišto from OK Olimpik, Jelena Zdilar from Marina Kaštela, Rebecca Scoria and Larisa Pauletić from OK Poreč, Dijana Karatović and Mia Kainz from ŽOK Osijek and Petra Dugandžić from OK Čepin.

Head coach Ivanišević will have the full support and help from his experienced coaching staff: Assistant coaches Ivana Džamarija and Marin Marinović, fitness coach Emil Baltić, physiotherapist Katarina Mikulić, scout Vladimir Jolić and team manager Frane Žanić.

CEV U19 Volleyball European Championship 2020 Women will be played in Osijek (CRO) and Zenica (BIH) from 22nd to 30th August 2020.

Along with hosts Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina, ten more national teams will “battle” for the title of junior European champions; Bulgaria, Belarus, France, Germany, Poland, Russia, Serbia, Slovakia and titleholders Italy.
