Switzerland surprised Poland for the large part of the first out of the two friendlies between these two teams that will end the summer activities of the hosts this year. Poland’s head coach Jacek Nawrocki decided to give the chance to players who are usually backups. The second match of these rivals is scheduled for tomorrow.
Prior to Switzerland, Poland faced the Czech Republic in friendlies that reopened the 2020 international volleyball season, winning both: 3-1 and 3-2.
