Developres SkyRes Rzeszów recorded the sixth win in as many games played in the 2020/21 TAURON Liga regular season. After beating BKS Stal Bielsko-Biała on the road in Round 7 in straight sets – partially, 25-20, 25-13, and 25-20 – Developres became even more isolated at the top spot in the charts. Canadian Kiera Van Ryk top-scored the winning side with 15 points, while Gabriela Polańska made 4 blocks.
In the Łódź city derby, Grot Budowlani Łódź downed ŁKS Commercecon Łódź in four sets. Both teams had a poor start to the season, but Budowlani significantly improved their form, noting the fourth successive victory to which they were led in scoring by American Veronica Jones-Perry (18 points). Zuzanna Górecka made 78 % reception (33 % perfect).
