How do you evaluate the meeting with Asseco Resovia? What happened after the second set?
Dawid Dryja: “We fight in the first and second set. We showed a really good volleyball. In the second part of the meeting was the moment when we had the set ball but we could not finish it. We did not use this opportunity and then something snapped in us. By the end of the meeting we did not manage to recover our game. We played against a very good team the Polish champion Asseco Resovia. Now we prepare for the match with PGE Skra Belchatow“.
At the beginning of the season four teams have chance for gold. Today we can confidently say that these predictions did not come true?
“Of course it is always so that puts some teams as the favorites, but in PlusLiga all teams can make a surprise”.
You got a chance to play in the starting six. How do you evaluate your performances in the league so far?
“My debut was very stressful for me. The first time I played this level so I felt some nerves. PlusLiga presents a really high level. I’m glad I got the opportunity to present myself”.
Is the AZS Politechnika WARSZAWSKA has managed to achieve the objectives of basic phase?
“Since the beginning of the season as the most important goal we have chosen a good fight and a good play. No one certainly did not expect that we will win five or six games in a row. With some teams often theoretically weaker we played very poorly. It’s hard for me to say why our form is not stable. We hope we will play our best games in the playoffs“.
What are your goals for the next phase of the competition?
“We will simply fight to the end and play with each team one hundred percent and what we can earn will be ours”.
