In a delayed match of Round 17 of the 2020/21 Polish Men’s PlusLiga regular season, Skra beat Warszawa by a 3-1 (17-25, 25-20, 29-27, 25-19). It was an important game for both sides in terms of claiming positions in the table for the playoffs. Both teams had something to fight for. With the win, Skra moved up to 6th place, while Warszawa missed the opportunity of squeezing into the top 4 and even on 3rd place.
Serbian Dušan Petković topscored Skra with 21 points, while Mateusz Bieniek served as many as 8 aces! Michał Superlak notched 22 points for the team from the Polish capital, while Belgian Igor Grobelny made 73 % reception (11 digs, 1 error, 45 % perfect).
In a delayed match of the 20th round, Ślepsk Malow Suwałki confidently defeated the last in the table MKS Będzin by a 3-0 (25-20, 25-19, 25-17) and jumped to 8th place in the ranking (the last place that guarantees the playoff participation). Bartłomiej Bołądź stood out on the winning side with 17 points.
