SSC Palmberg Schwerin won the 2021 German Women’s DVV-Pokal Frauen, whose Final Four was held in Mannheim. In the gold medal encounter, the team coached by Felix Koslowski achieved a clear win over SC Potsdam: 3-0 (25-19, 25-13, 25-18). This was Schwerin’s cup title no.7, which came two years after the last triumph. On the other hand, Potsdam missed the opportunity to claim the historical first title in the club’s history.

American middle blocker Lauren Barfield top-scored the winning side with 14 points, which she collected through 77 % attack (10/13), including 4 blocks. Her compatriot Lindsey Ruddins and Laura Emonts scored 10 points apiece for Potsdam.

But, what Potsdam missed, United Volleys Frankfurt didn’t. They lifted the first-ever trophy in their club history, which has been lasting since 2015. In the 2021 German Men’s DVV-Pokal Männer final, also held in Mannheim, United Volleys swep Netzhoppers KW-Bestensee by a 3-0 (25-23, 25-21, 25-22).

They were led to a historical title by Daniel Malescha (15 points) and Argentine Facundo Imhoff (4 blocks). Estonian Karli Allik tallied 10 points on the losing side.
