Last season Cuban receiver defended colors of Polish champions, Atom Trefl Sopot. A native from Havana previously played in Bakı-Azəryol, in the Azerbaijan Super League.
In none of these clubs she has not established herself for a long time, in each of them spending only one season. Last year in Trefl a 27-year-old player very often gave away her place in starting line-up to terrific Rachel Rourke or Erika Coimbra.
In August, Cabrera was close to signing a contract with the Russian Super League newcomers, Khara Morin Molodechno, but after two preseason games played in that team, the transfer of Cuban was stopped.
On August 28 she starred in sparrings at Łódź team, which recently ended a friendly tournament in Belgium, where they took third place. Cabrera found her place in the line-up, confirming her great skills.
Today the decision the contract to Cuban receiver was announced and she will be the third foreign player in Budowlani, next to Canadian Tabitha Love and Ukrainian Olga Trach.
Noris Cabrera will compete for her position with Dorotą Ściurką, Natalią Nuszel and Martyną Grajber.
