Polish men’s volleyball club Aluron CMC Warta Zawiercie closed another huge deal for the 2021/22 season.
After they recently signed Serbian Kovačević, Aluron brought him a partner on the outside hitter’s position for the next season – Facundo Conte.
A 31-year-old Argentinean superstar is well known to the PlusLiga auditorium. Between 2013 and 2016, he performed at PGE Skra Bełchatów, winning the competition in his first season there. Later, Conte added the Cup and Super Cup to the trophies claimed with Skra.
The Best Outside Spiker of the 2015 CEV Champions League spent the last three years in Brazil where he first defended the colors of EMS Taubaté Funvic, with whom he won the national championship, for one year. He then moved to Sada Cruzeiro, taking the Brazilian Cup twice and South American Club Championship once.
