POL M: It’s official – Tine Urnaut in Jastrzębski Węgiel

Jastrzębski Węgiel announced the signing of a two-season contract with the captain of the Slovenian national team Tine Urnaut.

The main reason why I decided to sign a contract with Jastrzębski Węgiel is the great ambitions of this club. That is also a great motivation for me ”– emphasizes Tine Urnaut about accepting the offer of Jastrzębski Węgiel.

As a player I always want to present the best possible level of volleyball, both individually and through the team. I hope we have a good season ahead of us and let it be a season with fans in the halls. I wish we could experience many wonderful moments together that we will remember forever” – added Tine Urnaut.

“Tine Urnaut is a volleyball player with a very rich biography, who has played many matches with high stakes in his career. The experience he has gained on club and national level is invaluable. I believe that this will be a valuable support to our young players, ”said Adam Gorol, President of Jastrzębski Węgiel.

Tine Urnaut is an experienced player who played in several different leagues around the world. He played in the Italian Serie A1 for almost nine seasons, defending the colors of seven clubs.

He made his first volleyball steps in his hometown Ravne na Koroškem, played for Fuzinar, and made his debut in the senior competition at 16. From there, in 2006, he joined the most successful club in his country, ACH Volley Bled.
