What was supposed to be a very interesting game of Round 3 in the 2021/22 TAURON Liga turned out to be a bit disappointing encounter. Grupa Azoty Chemik Police beat Grot Budowlani Łódź away in four sets in a replay of last season’s playoff quarter-finals. Only in the first set, the players on the home side were able to play consistently, while in subsequent sets they were a sideshow to the performance of the guests. Serbian Bojana Milenković stood out on the winning side with 14 points, including four blocks. Chemik set up as many as 17 blocks. Agnieszka Kąkolewska and Milenković’s compatriot Jovana Brakočević-Canzian also had four blocks.

Just like Chemik, E.LECLERC MOYA Radomka Radom also achieved their third league victory in as many games, but unlike the titleholders, they did it without losing a single set and took the lead in the table. Radomka were huge favorites against Joker Świecie today and they fulfilled this role perfectly. Katarzyna Zaroślińska-Król led the winning side with 16 points. Zuzanna Efimienko-Młotkowska made five blocks.
