After a difficult match with Jastrzębski Węgiel (1-3) a week ago, PGE faced another challenging match in the 2021/22 PlusLiga. In their own hall, they played against the winners of the CEV Champions League from the previous season, ZAKSA. And, even though they have a significant lead in the head-to-head encounters, ZAKSA proved much stronger in recent years – so was the case today. The Bełchatów side dropped the lead of 2-0 in sets so ZAKSA remained undefeated in the league.

Łukasz Kaczmarek was the top scorer of the club from Kędzierzyn-Koźle with 29 points, including four blocks. Kamil Semeniuk served four aces.
