The famous Argentine male volleyball expert Javier Weber has become the new head coach of Indykpol AZS Olsztyn.
The five-time Polish club champions Olsztyn announced that Weber is their new head coach. The contract of the famous Argentine expert will be valid until the end of the season, with an option to extend it for another. He replaced Italian Marco Bonitta, with whom Olsztyn parted ways over a week ago by mutual agreement.
Weber won the Argentine Championship six times and the Argentine Cup four times. He also took a gold medal in the 2010 South American Club Championship. He collected all of these titles with Bolívar Voley. Weber also coached the Argentina Men’s National Team from 2009 to 2013.
The 55-year-old coach was dismissed by Vôlei Funvic Natal, with which he took the Brazilian Championship last season, on the eve of the FIVB Club Men’ World Championship, less than two weeks ago.
