Grupa Azoty ZAKSA Kędzierzyn-Koźle, freshly promoted to the CEV Men’s Volleyball Champions League Super Finals, announced the contract extension with 3 starters.
ZAKSA announced that in the next 2 seasons their fans will watch Aleksander Śliwka, Łukasz Kaczmarek, and Marcin Janusz in the jersey of the reigning European champions and current finalists of the CEV Champions League. Captain Śliwka joined ZAKSA in 2018, winning the Polish Championship, 2 Polish Super Cups, 3 Polish Cups, and an exceptionally valuable trophy – the Champions League in whose final he was chosen the MVP. So, if he fully respects his contract, Śliwka will stay in ZAKSA until 2024.
Kaczmarek also joined the team from Kędzierzyn-Koźle before the 2018/2019 season.
The third pillar of ZAKSA, which will remain at the club for the next 2 seasons, is Janusz. The Poland National Team member (just like the other 2 players that renewed contracts) joined the club before the current season, already winning the first trophy – the Polish Cup.
