USA W: Kiraly elected US Olympic Coach of the Year

The United States Olympic Committee (USOPC) honored the country’s women’s volleyball national team head coach Karch Kiraly as the best Olympic coach in 2021.

The USOPC announced that the country’s women’s volleyball national team head coach Karch Kiraly has been elected United States Olympic Coach of the Year in 2021.

Under his command, the stars and stripes squad won the gold medal in the 2020 Tokyo Games, earning the women’s volleyball first Olympic gold medal in the history of the US. Kiraly was honored not only for being involved in the U.S. Women success in Tokyo but also for the fact the USA’s claimed its 3rd straight FIVB Volleyball Nations League title in 2021.
