Dentil Praia Clube, the runners-up of the 2021/22 Brazilian Women’s Volleyball Championship regular season, secured as many as 4 current starters for one more season.
On the eve of the start of the playoff semi-final series against Sesc RJ Flamengo in the 2021/22 Superliga Feminina 1XBET, Praia secured 4 signatures of the players that currently wear their jerseys and are members of the lineup.
Next season, the Uberlândia club will stay strong as Ana Carolina Silva ‘Carol’ and 3 foreigners – Dutch Anne Buijs, as well as Dominican sisters Martínez, Brayelin and Jineiry – renewed. Also, the head coach Paulo Coco agreed to go for the 6th successive season in Praia. It wasn’t easy to persuade the quartet of players to stay in the club as the middle blocker Carol had proposals from Europe, while opposite hitter Brayelin Martínez was in demand in the Asian market.
