Yurii Semeniuk closed the lineup of the Polish Men’s Volleyball top division side, Projekt Warszawa, for the 2022–23 season.
Semeniuk joined the ranks of Warszawa. The Ukrainian middle blocker and quarter-finalist of the recently completed FIVB World Championships with his national team, thus closed the composition of the club from the Polish capital for the 2022-23 season. The 2.10-meter-tall and 28-year-old player most recently defended the colors of Epitsentr-Podolyany on a club level, helping his side end the multi-year domination of Barkom-Kazhany Lviv in the Ukrainian Championship. Interestingly, Semeniuk will vie against them in the national league next season as well, even though he moved to Poland, given that Barkom joined PlusLiga.
Semeniuk, the Best Blocker of the CEV EuroVolley 2019, was one of the leaders of the Ukraine National Team at the last World Champs, where they were one of the most pleasant surprises of the tournament to which they came instead of disqualified Russia.
