Polish Volleyball Federation Extends Contracts with National Team Coaches Ahead of Paris Olympics

The Polish Volleyball Federation has extended the contracts of the head coaches for both the women’s and men’s national teams for an additional four years, leading up to the Paris Olympics.

Nikola Grbić and Stefano Lavarini will continue coaching their respective teams until the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics.

Serbian coach Nikola Grbić took charge of the Polish men’s team in 2022. Under his leadership, the team won the 2023 Volleyball Nations League and the 2023 EuroVolley, and secured a silver medal at the 2022 World Championship. Poland currently holds the top spot in the world rankings.

Italian coach Stefano Lavarini has been with the Polish women’s team since 2022. His team has won bronze medals in the 2023 and 2024 Volleyball Nations League and is currently ranked 4th in the world.
